his is not a typical book for me, however I couldn’t resist the idea of a young beautiful girl being the Grim Reaper. This is a darkly humorous and sexy story with a great protagonist in Charley Davidson - a part time private investigator (a job she has enjoyed substantial success in, given her ability to talk with dead people), and full time Grim Reaper. This book is an exciting beginning to what could be a great new series. I’d love to see it made into a TV series as well - maybe on Showtime right after Dexter.
